This year’s Passport to Careers Expo was a resounding success. More than 320 high school students from 22 schools explored dynamic career pathways in IT/Technology and Financial Services.
- Career Passport: Students connected with 63 professional volunteers from 44 regional companies.
- Opportunity Passport: They engaged with 37 representatives from 22 post-secondary institutions, including universities, community colleges, military services, certification programs, and youth-serving organizations.

Students also joined interactive sessions featuring innovators from LAND, Lubrizol, Nestlé, and Sherwin-Williams—all part of the Greater Cleveland Partnership’s national campaign spotlighting homegrown companies. These sessions were facilitated by Youth Opportunities Unlimited high school interns, bringing peer-led energy to the experience.

"The most valuable part of Passport to Careers was the students being able to speak with professionals one-on-one. The professionals recommended what routes the students could take to accomplish their goals," Career Coordinator at John Adams College and Career Academy.
