A sense of awe descended over Greater Cleveland at 3:13 p.m. Monday, as the moon eclipsed the sun and darkness covered The Land.  This was what it was all about, and why an estimated 200,000 people made Greater Cleveland their destination: a total solar eclipse. The festivals, the Final Four, concerts and films were great – but this was the main attraction – a truly once in a lifetime experience.

From Total Eclipse Fest at the Great Lakes Science Center to SolarFest at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to Super Saturday practices and Tourney Town events for the Women’s Final Four to a full day of movies at the Cleveland International Film Festival, the global spotlight was on The Land.
