The Boler College of Business at John Carroll University is making big moves in Greater Cleveland’s higher ed space. The dean of the Boler College, Dr. Elad Granot, brings passion, purpose, and vision to the already prestigious dual AACSB accredited institution. From revamping programs to making international world class experiences more accessible, the Boler College of Business is innovating ways to serve students better than ever before.
One such program is the Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MSIE). This revamped Boler graduate program is helping students, whether just out of undergrad or already established in the workforce, to ignite purpose in their career. Beyond discovering new purpose, this degree is incredibly versatile in the ways that it can prepare someone to be an entrepreneur and start their own business or enable a student with the skills to innovate within their own field and fast track to the C-suite. The opportunities and experiences that the cutting edge MSIE program offers are endless.
The pandemic taught people a lot about the importance of having flexibility in their work and school lives. At most businesses and financial institutions, work from home or online classes have become a more available option post-pandemic. The Boler College of Business takes flexibility to the next level with the Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This program offers a one year accelerated timeline, in-person and virtual formats, and weekend classes. The MSIE can cater to any schedule!
Beyond that, the MSIE offers a 10-day world class experience included in tuition for students. In the spring, the MSIE cohort will travel to the Start-Up Nation, Israel, to immerse themselves in the ecosystem of one of the most entrepreneurial countries in the world. Dr. Elad Granot is of Israeli descent and has many unparalleled connections with businesses and venture capitalists in Israel, making for a once in a lifetime opportunity for the MSIE students, alumni, and guests.
To give students even more unprecedented opportunities, Boler has made it a priority to partner with other prestigious institutions and businesses, such as NASA and Babson. The Boler College is part of the Babson Collaborative - Entrepreneurship Education Member Organization. This global membership organization is committed to connecting universities around the world that are building and expanding their entrepreneurial ecosystems. Boler is the only college in this organization from Ohio, out of 35 member institutions in 22 countries, and one of the few to have the esteemed AACSB accreditation.
The Boler College of Business is now accepting applications from those interested in enrolling in the MSIE. The next cohort for the Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship begins in January 2023 with an application deadline of December 1st.
